Q: I just posted a transaction and it appears that it charged the member's credit card automatically. How did this happen?

A: vBarter offers (on a member by member basis) the option to charge members transaction fees in real time, at the same time as the trade transaction by setting the Terms on their Member Information page to NO.

This feature is most useful for members who habitually run up large fee balances and are collection problems, or for members that do just a few large transactions per year.

To manage the setting for real time fee processing, on the Manage Member's page for each member, select Terms = Yes for on demand billing, or Terms = No for real time billing.
